My name is Niky, and I have been an English teacher for 16 years.
It serves me great pleasure to say that I have been involved with elementary school English-teaching in metropolitan Japan for 9 years.
I have lived in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, for most of my life, but I have also experienced many different cultures from around the world through my travels.
I have taught KG3 (Kindergarten) classes to grade 12 English classes across institutions such as YMCA and Kin Carn International School.
Within my classes, I love to incorporate a variety of activities from interactive lessons, to fun physical exercises.
I believe that the most effective way to learn a language is to immerse one’s self in the culture of the native tongue, and absorb a plentiful amount of vocabulary from one’s surroundings.
My goal is to focus on smooth communication with others using English, and to feel comfortable using the language outside the classroom.
Nonetheless, if you have any questions, or need to speak with me regarding a concern, by all means please don’t hesitate to approach me!
